Mission Statement
The mission of the Jefferson Public Library is to ensure our patrons free access to books, and other resources and services for education, information, and recreation - through a balanced collection of print and non-print resources. We seek to build knowledge, understanding, appreciation and wisdom in our adults, young people, and children. The library serves to help the community grow into adulthood and then seeks to meet the needs of that maturity.
