About Us: The J.M. Stringer Gallery of Fine Art, located in the charming town of Bernardsville, New Jersey is anything but your typical suburban art gallery. Upon entering, you feel as though you are visiting a friend in their warm and inviting home. You are graciously greeted by either of the owners and invited to browse, contemplate and ponder. The gallery’s focus is in presenting to its clients works of “quality and tradition,” whether they be fine paintings of the past or from master artists of the present. In the Exhibition Gallery (21 Claremont Road), we feature revolving exhibitions of the latest work of various gallery artists. Here one is able to study a body of work by some of the finest representational artists working today, or view the latest acquisitions of the gallery's antique art collection. In the Annex Gallery (25 Claremont Road) we have on display examples of all of the gallery's featured artists, including their larger scaled works, as well as the gallery's extensive collection of fine antique paintings. Also on display is J.M. Stringer Gallery's collection of specimen antique furniture. All of the items featured, are presented in beautiful room settings that give the client an idea of how they might work in their own home. The J.M. Stringer Gallery of Fine Art is committed to providing its patrons with an enriching experience and the highest level of customer service.
