J Gregory Wines

Mark and Kandice Jessup are the owners of J Gregory Cellars, a line of ultra premium wines produced from superior grapes grown in select appellations throughout Napa Valley. Both natives of the valley, they have a deep appreciation for a life defined by the annual grape harvest. Kandice and Mark understand that love of family, good friends and good wine, should be celebrated and shared—the guiding principle for J Gregory Cellars.

Mark works closely with a small handful of respected growers throughout Napa Valley, long term mutual relationships fostered over four decades of winemaking. He understands that outstanding fruit is the foundation of exceptional wines and believes these grower relationships allow him to ‘pick and choose’ from a variety of appellation personalities. The resulting wines are at once classic—and contemporary.

J Gregory Cellars is inspired by Jonathan Gregory Jessup, who was diagnosed at birth with a challenging disability, and honors Jonny’s determination and love of life.  The J Gregory wines reflect Mark’s expressive winemaking style, commitment to quality, and attention to detail. In addition, the stylized design of the J Gregory label echoes Mark’s respect and love for family; the ‘thumbprint’ image represents his four sons, with special recognition of Jonny.
