Mission:

Striving to provide the citizens of Ivanhoe, and the surrounding area, with library service that is engaging, empowering, and enriching.

History:

The Ivanhoe Public Library Foundation Fund was established in 2015 with a generous donation from Norwood Sisson in memory of Romine and Margaret Sisson, early pioneer settlers of Lincoln County MN. Currently our endowment funds are held with Southwest Initiative Foundation, a 501c3 organization located in Hutchinson, Mn. The foundation is set up with a designated and non-endowment trust that accepts contributions from individuals and corporations. Contributions to the fund are invested through Southwest Initiative Foundation and generate investment income used to support current and future needs of the Ivanhoe Public Library. Currently the Governing Board of the Ivanhoe Public Library serves as trustees of the foundation meeting quarterly to conduct business.
