About Us:
Ironwood Brewing is located at 6 Roosevelt Road in Valparaiso, Indiana. The building is a 1930's brick bungalow, formerly used as a private residence; it was purchased in 2012.Â
Extensive renovations to the building included new energy efficient windows, upgraded electrical service and plumbing, an ADA compliant restroom and entrance ramp with railings. An effort was made to keep some of the original charm of the building - including keeping the original hardware flooring and re-purposing some of the original wood doors into high-top bar tables.
Ironwood's bar was built by scratch and utilizes reclaimed maple from old restaurant tables. The tap handles are all uniquely hand-carved - many are made from ironwood or other local woods. A new brick patio was installed in front of the building in June of 2014
