Hylebos and Milgard Nature Areas

The park is accessible via a trailhead located at the dead end of 4th Street East or a small parking area at the corner of 62nd Avenue East and 8th Street East. The address is 6125 8th Street East.The City acquired this 15 acre site along Hylebos Creek through County and Federal grants. The property was developed as an important habitat restoration project. In addition to the grant from the Pierce County Conservation Futures Fund, additional funding was obtained from the Restoration Trustees through the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The City operates and maintain the Park with the help of volunteer groups. The site is a great addition to Fife’s growing Park system, providing our citizens a place to enjoy nature.
