The Huntington Avenue YMCA is focused on promoting youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in the Greater Boston communities since President Taft laid the cornerstone in 1912. Today, the YMCA is one of the community’s leading social service providers. This facility is newly renovated, featuring a new pool, fitness area, locker rooms and basketball gym.

  • Youth Development – We are a safe haven for over 700 teens who take part in our programming to learn social and academic skills from positive role models.
  • Healthy Living – 10,000 adults and youth receive the support, guidance and resources needed to achieve better health and well-being by being a member of our Y.
  • Social Responsibility – We ensure that our programs are accessible to all by providing $290,000 in financial assistance each year to our programs and services.
