The Hunterdon Museum of Art offers exhibitions and educational programs for people of all ages. The museum, a landmark regional art center since 1952, is housed in a 19th century stone grist mill which is on the National Register of Historic Places. In this historic setting, the museum presents exhibitions of modern and contemporary art, featuring established as well as emerging artists.
The museum also offers children’s and adult art classes, workshops, lectures, docent-led gallery tours, and other interpretive experiences. The museum shop carries a wide variety of fine crafts, including jewelry and children's toys and games.
