Howard Young Medical Center is an acute care facility that provides a level of care not commonly found in a typical rural hospital. Specially trained physicians, nurses and technical personnel are dedicated to caring for the health and wellness of those in our communities. Hospitalists oversee the care of general medical surgical patients, as well as those cared for in our intensive care and transitional care units. Our birthing center prides itself on offering a family-centered approach to labor and delivery in a relaxing, home-like environment.
