Howard Park and Community Center

Howard park is named after D.D. "Dad" Howard, the City's first Superintendent of Streets and Public Improvements. This scenic 13.8 acre park is located just on the outskirts of tropical downtown West Palm Beach. The Community Center hosts many activities, a complimentary computer lab and is available for private rentals for up to 100. Enjoy the fitness trail, a game of tennis, softball, basketball or consider shuffleboard on one of the 16 shuffleboard courts. Our younger visitors can set sail at the sunken ship playground, run in our vast open green space or watch our canine friends exercise at City Paws Dog Park. Consider hosting your next open air event at our outdoor rental space. This park truly offers something for everyone!
