In the fall of 1987, with a fire in his belly, Ted Hosmer began his lawn care- snow company out of his parent’s garage. Over the course of the next 4 years Ted, while taking night horticultural classes at CCFL, and working days, continued to grow the business. The business no longer could be run out of his parent’s garage, so in 1991 he began renting much needed space on Lake Avenue in the City of Rochester, NY.

For the next 9 years Ted, along with his family, friends, and employees grow his business with the notion of offering outstanding service for lawn care and snow removal. The business moved four more times, until landing at our current location consisting of approximately 54,000 sq. ft. of office and shop space, and 50 acres of outdoor facility in Henrietta.

Today Ted Hosmer Enterprises is one of the largest lawn, landscape and commercial snow removal companies in the Rochester, NY and surrounding areas. Today we are a full service property maintenance company, landscape design build, nursery, small engine repair shop, snow removal and Toro lawn and snow equipment dealership.
