The Horsethief Lake Trail is a 2.7 mile long trail that wanders through granite peaks and twisting spires that poke through the thick forest canopy.

Directions:

The Horsethief Lake Trail trailhead is at the Horsethief Lake Day Use area which is located on State Highway 244, two miles west of Mount Rushmore National Memoral.
