Mission Statement:

The Horatio Colony House Museum and Nature Preserve has been established to preserve and protect the 1806 Federal house and collections of Horatio Colony II and the 645-acre nature preserve on West Hill in Keene; all to be open to the public as a community resource. The goals of the museum and preserve are to educate residents of and visitors to Keene about the history of the Colony family and the social and natural history of the area by means of exhibits, tours, lectures and special programs, through a focus on the property of Horatio Colony.
