Hominy Hill is considered one of the ”crown jewels“ of the Monmouth County Park System’s golf courses. This course is a Robert Trent Jones design classic, and is often rated as New Jersey’s #1 public golf course.
Hominy Hill has been the host of two USGA National Amateur Public Links championships and numerous regional championship tournaments. The course measures 7,049 yards from the blue tees and has USGA course and slope ratings of 74.2 and 131 from the blue tees. 138 bunkers are scattered throughout the course, with water coming into play at four holes. Seasonal wildflowers enhance out-of-play areas.
Course amenities include a well-stocked golf center, GHIN handicapping, food concession snack bar, warm-up range, locker rooms with showers, and an immaculately manicured putting green.
