Hightower Beach Park

Hightower Beach Park was recently renovated thanks to a successful community partnership with Montecito Community Development District and state funds from the Florida Preservation 2000 and Florida Land and Water grant programs. The 15 acre park highlights the beautiful natural dune system. The city wanted this park to educate its visitors to the uniqueness of the dune and beach system, and empower folks to make a difference.  Educational signs are located throughout the park to meet this goal. You can walk along the meandering boardwalk to observe the fragile ecosystem without disturbing nature. Beachgoers can become completely absorbed in the calmness of this park, both along the boardwalk and at the beach.
