About Us:

HMC is your local health care provider offering primary medical care, dentistry, physical therapy, a wellness center, behavioral health services, and a medications dispensary. These services are available to all residents of Bath, Highland, Pocahontas, Pendleton, and West Augusta, regardless of an individual’s ability to pay.

We provide regular and extended hours as well as on-call availability to help meet the comprehensive primary medical, dental, and mental health needs of the region. The center offers preventive programs, community education, diagnostic laboratory, radiology (through UVA telemedicine), pharmacy pickup including free prescriptions and medication assistance.

As an active participant in the Health Disparities Collaborative, HMC will continue to work with the Bureau of Primary Health Care in meeting performance standards and reducing health disparities in the medically underserved region.
