Hicks Stearns Museum

The Hicks-Stearns house is an outstanding example of the architectural development of a home from the simple utilitarian design of the mid-seventeen hundreds to the highly ornate style of the Victorian period. The house is centrally, and beautifully located on the Historic Tolland Town Green. The original colonial dwelling can still be seen in the exterior, and in the many original features prominently displayed inside.
