In 1962, Hiawatha founder Harold Crouch recruited design great Jack Kidwell to craft a challenging and beautiful 18-hole golf course reflective of its setting among central Ohio's gently rolling hills.
Meandering creeks that wind their way around and through the course, along with several small lakes and occasional bunkers, provide scenic golfing obstacles among the links.
Throughout its history, the original Hiawatha & Runningwater Golf Course has seen many changes. Its name was shortened, a full watering system was installed to maintain its verdant fairways, a 150-seat covered shelterhouse was built for exciting outings, trees have grown into mature stands and executive housing has emerged along a part of its perimeter.
