About The Library
The Glen Allen Branch Library opened in August 1995, and the time capsule and marker were placed at the front entrance in May 1996. The Glen Allen Library was the first Henrico public library to include a computer lab and to offer free computer instruction classes. In the March 2005 bond referendum, Henrico voters approved a 13,000 sq. ft. expansion, which will double the size of the building.
