Highlighting Honolulu

Hawaii Kai Dog Park

845 Kii Street
Honolulu, HI 96825

Hui 'Ilio Hawai'i (the Hawaii Dog Group) was founded to promote safe and friendly places for dogs and their people to play, and to promote responsible dog ownership. Our initial reason for organizing was to build the Hawaii Kai Dog Park.  Now that the park is a reality, we continue to support the dog park as "adopt-a-park" partners by recruiting and training volunteer park rangers, and by sponsoring weeding and landscaping projects. Our ongoing goals are to help other dog groups get approval for parks in their respective districts, enhance the opportunities for dogs to get proper exercise and socialization, and to promote responsible dog ownership.

Hours: The dog park is open daily from dawn to dusk, except for TUESDAY MORNINGS when it is closed from 7am to 12 noon
