About Us:

Hart's Desire is a boutique winery tucked away in Geyserville, CA. John Hart III and his wife, Desire, started our winery after years of making wine for themselves, family and friends. Soon that became friends of family and their friends as well. In 1991, at the urging of his loyal following, John "went legit" and the first Hart's Desire Chardonnay was produced.

In the years since, we have built a family winery known for it's gorgeously crafted, single vineyard wines. John Hart III never met a grape he didn't want to turn into a fine wine. This coupled with a goal of never producing more than 350 cases per varietal has led to a perfect balance in our winery. We offer 16 wines, 30 to 300 cases of each created. Our total case production is 1800 a year.
