Hartland Senior Center

The mission of the Hartland Senior Center, in cooperation with the surrounding communities, is to provide the physical, emotional, educational, and economic well being of older adults. The center will promote their independence and self-esteem by facilitating their participation in the community.

The Hartland Senior Center is sponsored by the Hartland Consolidated School’s Community Education program. We are able to offer the following services because of the support of the Hartland Consolidated Schools, Hartland, Tyrone, and Deerfield Townships, the Livingston County United Way, Michigan Department of Transportation, Area Agency on Aging 1-B, Brighton Rotary, Hartland Women’s Club, Heartland Foundation, memorial donations, program fees and charges, travel program revenues, and personal contributions.

Each year there is an increasing demand for the services provided by the Hartland Senior Center but due to the slumping economy we anticipate a decrease in funding from several of our major funders.
