Hancock County Public Library is part of the Uncle Remus Regional Library System.

Its mission is to provide constituents access to print and non-print informational, educational & recreational resources to help create an informed citizen & enable lifelong learning. For this reason, The Hancock County Public Library and Uncle Remus Regional Library System strive to continually provide an array of learning tools to patrons, including some to today's most advanced technological tools such as computers to access a variety of databases & Internet resources and wireless printing for patron laptops.

Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.; Sunday: 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
