Nestled at the north-west corner of Hazel and Kentucky Streets in downtown Gridley is the GridleyMuseum, which houses many wonderful artifacts depicting old time Gridley. Among the hundreds of photographs, many different facets of history ar represented, from military uniforms worn by local war veterans to old school desks. The school desks are located in the old fashioned schoolroom, which features the old time bell which was located at WilsonSchool. The GridleyMuseum was a dream developed by the Gridley Rotary Club and has been open two years. The building was purchased by the club for $78,000. The museum has since been taken over by the City of Gridley. Fund raisers for the museum have included yearly a estate sale, tri tip sandwich booths and the sale of the John Cowan book Jewel of the Pacific Flyway.
