Great Lakes Equestrian Center, LLC is a boarding, training, and lesson facility owned and operated by international level event rider, Erika Treis Petersen and her husband David Petersen.West Michigan can now benefit from the expertise of a trainer with over a decade of experience at the international level!  We offer lessons and training for all levels of horse and rider.

Located in beautiful Holland, Michigan, GLEC offers every amenity including acres of lush pasture, a 70 x 200 indoor arena, regulation size dressage court, separate 120 x 180 jumping arena, cross country schooling course and access to miles of groomed equine-dedicated trails.  The property is impeccably maintained with the care and comfort of the horses at the forefront of all activities.  We are continually upgrading the facility.

Instruction and training are available for riders of all ages and skill levels; from the very beginner to the highest level competitor.  We have school horses for the beginner to advanced rider,  you may bring your own horse or use one of ours as we work together to achieve your riding goals.   Whatever your goals, GLEC has an instructor and a program to fit your needs.
