Mission Statement :

It is the mission of the Gray Public Library to provide a wide variety of print and non-print materials that will address the information needs of all individuals in this community. The library, dedicated to freedom of access to information for all, will develop a collection of current and accurate materials that will provide members of this community the ability to fulfill their intellectual, emotional, cultural and recreational needs and that will encourage lifelong learning, create an informed citizenry, and enrich their quality of life. The library will seek to fulfill this mission by: Providing a well-balanced collection that represents a variety of opinions. Providing adequate facilities and equipment to support the library program. Providing prompt, efficient, friendly service to all patrons. Providing a staff trained in the use of current technologies and library practices. Utilizing human, monetary and physical resources efficiently. Assessing the needs of the community and meeting those needs within the scope of library resources. Cooperating with local, regional and state library systems to provide additional access to information resources.
