AARP Hearing Center
Our Mission: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The Y makes accessible the support and opportunities that empower people and communities to learn, grow and thrive. With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every child and teen, improves the nation’s health and well-being, and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors.
The story of our Y is the story of our individual members: the young widow looking for activities for herself and her daughter as they work through grief; the preschooler learning her ABC’s and learning to swim in the same morning; the man in his 80s seeking quality of life through exercise. These are the stories that happen every day at the Grand Island YMCA. Since 1885, our commitment to our community includes helping youth develop character, promoting healthy living and social responsibility for youth and adults.
