About Us:

The Gowrie Public Library is a member of the Webster County Library Association. The other libraries include Badger, Callender, Clare, Dayton, Duncombe, Fort Dodge, Harcourt and Lehigh. 

The Gowrie Public Library is an Open Access Library which means anyone who is a registered library card holder in good standing at their library is able to borrow materials from the library.

The Gowrie Public Library offers the following services:

1. Circulation of books, periodicals, The Gowrie News, DVDs, books and music on CDs, and puzzles

2. Reference and interlibrary loan services

3. Children's story times and reading programs

4. Outreach programs

5. Public access photocopier and scanner

6. Three computers available for access to the Internet or word processing.

7. Fax service

8. Adult programs
