The Goodwin Park Golf Course is a 27 Hole facility on the border of Hartford and Wethersfield. The Championship course measures just over 6000 yards from the back tees and plays to a par of 70. Golf has been played on the 120 year old park since 1906. The North course measures 2500 yards, has a par of 35 and is a perfect course for beginners and those looking for a quick nine.

The City of Hartford has begun to bring the courses at Goodwin Park back to respectable conditions. They are making a great investment in Goodwin Park Golf Course after years of neglect from the prior management companies.

The City has hired Guilmette Golf, LLC to manage the maintenance operation at Goodwin Park. Chris and Matt Guilmette have over 40 years combined experience working on golf course maintenance. Matt Guilmette was most recently the Head Golf Superintendent at Cedar Ridge Golf Course in East Lyme, Connecticut. Chris Guilmette held the same position at Willow Brook Golf Course in South Windsor. Through their expertise and hard work the Goodwin Park Golf Course conditions continue to improve.

The City also hired Cloud 9 Golf Company, LLC to manage the golf operation. Kevin Cloud, PGA is the 2014 Connecticut Section Player Development Award Recipient. He most recently worked as the Director of Instruction at Lyman Orchards. He was also a 2012 US Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Teacher.
