Golden Memorial State Park memorializes the post Civil War era with a one-room school once located on the site. The Park provides picnic tables, grills, 2 picnic pavilions, nature trails, and a 15-acre spring-fed lake stocked with bass and bream. The Loblolly Trail features the second largest loblolly pine tree in the state of Mississippi.

A Mississippi Fishing License is required for all people between the ages of 16 and 65. For license information, please call the park office at (601) 253-2237. There is no swimming allowed in the lake.Boats are limited in size to a 14 foot jon boat with trolling motor or smaller. An unpaved boat launch is provided. There is no fee for use of the boat ramp.
