The Board of Selectmen enacted a Rail Trail Ordinance in 2005, which you can read here.

The Regional Trails Coordinating Council (RTCC) has released its Regional Trails Plan 2012 (download here). The RTCC is made up of trail groups, agencies, non-profits, and individuals who share a common goal of developing a regional trails network.
