Glastonbury Farmers' Market

About Us:

The Glastonbury Farmers Market is a public market located in the Town of Glastonbury, Connecticut.  It is run by the Glastonbury Farmers Market Coalition, Inc. (GFMC), a not-for profit organization.  By organizing the Glastonbury Farmers Market, GFMC seeks to encourage and promote the accessibility of locally produced fresh food to the public, in particular seniors and lower income families; provide educational programs to all ages regarding nutrition, increased awareness of local food systems, agriculture, and the environment; to promote stewardship of the Earth; and provide a forum for charitable organizations that promote health and nutrition in battling childhood obesity.

Our goal is to become one of the most vibrant marketplaces in our region by attracting vendors who produce quality products and present them in a creative way, and partnering with charitable organizations to promote a healthy lifestyle message.
