Gene The Pumpkin Man

This page is dedicated to Gene "The Pumpkin Man" Rhodes. I know that I am only one of thousands of people in the Kalamazoo area that have grown up with Gene and his family's great farm. We all have great fall memories of driving up the big hill on West Main St. looking out our parents or grandparents car windows waiting for one thing: The pumpkin man and this year's pumpkin! Every year we picked the greatest pumpkin we could find. And of course each year it was "The Best Pumpkin ever found! " So feel free to share your stories of Gene, your visits to the farm and anything else. Here's to you and your family Pumpkin Man, thanks for making so many wonderful memories for thousands of people over the last 50+ years!
