Mission:

The Frontera Land Alliance protects—forever—natural areas, working farms and ranches, water and wildlife for future generations in the west Texas and southern New Mexico region of the Chihuahuan Desert. This includes TFLA leadership in education, resource management, and stewardship engaging in collaborative partnerships. TFLA promotes and facilitates balance in prudent approaches to ensuring the sustainability of our natural assets.

Vision:

Facilitating a shared community commitment to protecting now our open spaces for future generations.

In the future the region will enjoy steady water supplies, ample open space, and well-planned growth, achieved through collaborative public-private partnerships to protect current resources. By making smarter choices, we pass on to future generations the beauty, wildlife, water and natural resources we have today. Our investments in education and conservation are also investments in our economy through working farms and ranches, clean water, & energy; all natural resources we rely on for our quality of life.
