Originally part of the little mining and ranching town of Felix, our vineyard boasts a link to the past but certainly shines on our future. A one room school house, used to shoot the school house scenes from The Little House on the Prairie, overlooks us and the hacienda building for the original 3500 acre ranch is located down the road a piece, wow...what a small bit of paradise.

The hills around the Vineyard are filled with wild life. We often see coyote, bob cats and the occasional mountain lion. Hawks fill the air along with numerous other birds...ignoring the feeding cattle, horses and us humans.

Now officially located in Copperopolis, and nestled in the Salt Springs Reservoir Valley...Frog's Tooth Vineyards began to take shape in 1999, with the purchase of 67 acres. A natural spring swells to create a small frog pond in the interior of the vineyard where we've planted 4 unique Rhone varietals.
