Friends of Union County Library

Friends of the Library is a non-profit group of community members working together with businesses and civic groups to support Union County Public Library. 

Monthly membership meetings are at 2pm on the 3rd Wednesday. Meetings will be at the Boardroom of North Georgia Technical College, 121 Meeks Parkway, until May 2011 when the Library's Expansion & Renovation Project is completed at 194 Hospital Street. 

Proceeds from Friends fundraisers assist in purchasing goods, furnishings, and services. Friends purchase books, magazines, newspaper subscriptions, and materials for special programs. Volunteers for re-shelving are welcomed.
