About

The Friends of the Oak Lawn Library is a non-profit organization of volunteers who help promote use of the Oak Lawn Public Library, furnish equipment and materials that are beyond the library's budget and bring opportunities for cultural enrichment to area residents.

The Friends of the Oak Lawn Library is comprised entirely of community volunteers.

Since 1978, the Friends of the Oak Lawn Library have purchased more than $300,000 in gifts for the library with funds raised through book sales and membership dues. Our group doesn't get heavily involved with fund raising. We prefer to focus our energies on providing programs, activities and services that the public likes and supports.
