Friends Of The Adamstown Area Library

3000 North Reading Road
Adamstown, PA 19501

The Friends of the Adamstown Area Library originated from members of the Adamstown Woman's Club who founded the library that would later become the Adamstown Area Library. Today the Friends are responsible for fundraising for the Library. Without the crucial money their efforts provide many of the services library patrons take for granted would not exist. The Friends organize and run a number of successful fundraisers every year, including a Spring book sale (held at Peace Church on Rt. 897), basket bingo, and a bucks for books auction. They are endlessly coming up with great new ideas, and they are always looking for volunteers who might like to help.
