Mission

What do the Friends do?

A major Friends project is the ongoing used book sale in the Library. But the Friends also:

-Support the Summer Reading Program

-Purchase needed equipment (computers, library cards, etc.)

-Purchase books and special collections.

-Support the Books for Babies Program

-Make Mobile WiFi Hotspots available to borrow (with a fee to recover costs).

-Support youth and adult programs.

-Advocate for the Milan Public Library.

About

People who make up the Friends of the Milan Public Library are people like you, your family members, your neighbors and others in the community who support the library’s goals and services.

They are active advocates of the Library and help raise community awareness and appreciation of its many services and resources.

Through their efforts, individually and as a group, the Friends help bridge the gap between a good library and being recognized as a great library.
