The Friends of the Liberty Center Public Library is a non-profit organization, separate from the Library. It is comprised of individual members interested in books and other information sources and libraries.

The Friends offer invaluable assistance in the following areas:

Source of community opinion in determining the community's library needs

Focus public attention to the library's services, facilities, and needs

Encourage the gifts of library material, desirable collections, endowments, scholarships and bequests to the library

Work with the board of trustees and director on matters which relate to major development projects

Sponsor programs and exhibits and promote library-sponsored activities and services

Support library development and legislation

Support the policies established by the board of trustees.
