Friends of Hanover State Theatre

The Friends of Hanover State Theatre organization represents passionate people embarking on a project to purchase and renovate a historic structure.  The Hanover State Theatre is more than just a building.  It is an architectural treasure.  A new café, movie and live performance theatre would be a catalyst for the ongoing revitalization in downtown Hanover, PA.    It would be a centerpiece for local individuals and groups of all ages as well as touring performers, film and community events.  We want to discover, train and showcase the artistic talents of county-wide youths.  We want to expose the best artistic talents for the appreciation, enjoyment and entertainment of locals and visitors to Hanover, a vibrant American Heritage Tourism destination aligned with Gettysburg.  We see a venue for people of all ages.
