About Us:

The Fredericksburg Clinic was established March 27, 1937 by Dr. Perry T. Donop who built the first Donop Hospital and Clinic. In 1939 it was sold to a group of physicians who changed the name to Fredericksburg Hospital and Clinic. The current name, Fredericksburg Clinic arose in 1976 which coincided with the founding of Hill Country Memorial Hospital. The clinic is housed in a spacious, state of the art facility, located only 0.8 of a mile from the hospital. The clinic is known for providing excellent medical care in a warm, caring atmosphere. The Fredericksburg Clinic is the largest clinic in Gillespie County and continues to give personal care to each of our patients.
 
Medical services at the clinic include the Board Certified primary care specialties of Family Practice and Internal Medicine. Working alongside our physicians we also have two certified Physician Assistants, who see patients of all ages. There are consulting physicians who have regular weekly hours in our clinic. Multiple diagnostic services are also available within the clinic. They consist of Laboratory Studies, Vascular Screenings, Bone Density Testing, Holter Monitoring and EKG monitoring, Blood Pressure/ Shot Clinic, Anticoagulation Monitoring and Nerve Conduction Studies.
 
Each provider is assisted by a nurse and a medical assistant to help with all aspects of care to insure that his/her patients’ needs are met to the highest standards of care. Billing is done on site at the clinic by a team of highly trained staff, who are knowledgeable in Medicare, Medicaid,Private Insurance, and self pay billing. The specially trained medical staff that performs our diagnostic services are focused on excellence to guarantee that results are accurate so our providers can use them to give the best care possible. All staff here at the Fredericksburg Clinic work together as one cohesive unit from the front reception desk to the administration to the providers to be sure we provide unparalleled excellence of medical care for our patients.
