The Wilderness Center's Fred F. Silk Planetarium opened its doors to school groups in the Fall of 2001, marking an exciting step forward in astronomy education at the Center. Training for members of the Wilderness Center Astronomy Club, who will serve as presenters, began over the Winter of 2000.
