Freckleton's Tree Farm

This Family operation has been growing trees at our Dansville Tree farm since 1963 and here in our cut-your-own operation in Penfield since 1973. The goal in the cut-your-own trees is quality instead of quantity; fields are mowed every week to ten days so it is like a lawn for weed free trees and easy walking for customers. There are two warming sheds out in the tree fields so customers can get out of the weather and warm up if the weather is a problem. There is a customer area as part of the main barn where customers can get out of the weather and look at labeled samples of the different trees grown here. Enjoy free hot chocolate on the weekends and enter our annual contest to win a free tree the next year. Santa's workshop is in a tree house and loved by younger children, it has a free small gift for children; they can also select a free tree ornament in the customer area.
