Franklin Area Folk Festival

51 Cowee School Drive
Franklin, NC 28734

The Franklin Area Folk Festival strives to give a glimpse of life as it was in the day of our ancestors through demonstration and education. Hopefully photos posted on this page will help tell our story - "A Celebration of Application Heritage" as we all come together on the 3rd Saturday in August. This free, fun festival set up at the Cowee School, Arts and Heritage Center not only offers hands-on heritage demonstrations but also entertainment and live music, Arts and Crafts, Antique Cars, Civil War Re-enactors and Camp, kids' crafts and games, home-grown foods and much more!
