The Frankenmuth Brewery, founded in 1862, is one of the oldest breweries in the country. In 1996 a tornado destroyed the Frankenmuth Brewery.

It re-opened to the public under new owners July 1, 2009. Soon after the Frankenmuth Brewing Co. began distributing keg beer throughout Michigan.

Today it consists of a micro-brewery as well as two American-style indoor restaurants with three patios overlooking the Bavarian Belle Riverboat steaming up the Cass River.

The 28,000 square foot historic German brewery features seating for 432 indoor diners and 250 patio diners with plentiful free adjacent parking on Main Street in downtown Frankenmuth.

The Frankenmuth Brewing Company is proud to provide high value, classic meals, hand-crafted old-world beer, select and aged wines, original Root Bier and exceptional customer service.
