About Us:
The name "First Night" symbolizes a forward look into the New Year, over the technically correct "Last Night". We are a celebration of the New Year through the arts. First Night Spokane is a 501(c) 3 charitable organization and part of the "National Association of Community based New Year's Eve Arts Festivals. One of nearly 100 First Night celebrations around the world. We are multi-cultural, artistically unique, alcohol free, family friendly and extremely affordable public celebration that marks the passage from the old year to the new with art, ritual and festivity.

We have countless professional musicians, artists, performance groups and exhibits that inspire thousands of people of all ages to attend each year.

With more than 150 performances in over 40 venues, First Night Spokane transforms our downtown core into a performing and visual arts extravaganza with local, regional and national talent.
