The Bridges Course, established 2001 is a twenty-seven hole exclusive public course. It is the crown jewel of the Firewheel Courses. With immaculate Bent grass greens and three unique nines, the opportunity seems limitless. Any combination of the nines provides an outstanding test of Garland golf.
The Champion nine plays to a length of 3474 from the back teeing area, and to a length of 2614 from the front teeing area. The Masters plays to a length of 3553 from the back tees and 2529 from the front. The Tradition plays to a length of 3202 from the back and 2529 from the front.
The Champion - Masters' par is 72, The Masters - Tradition is 71, and par for the Tradition - Champion is 71. The Bridges Course features Bent grass greens, 419 Bermuda tees, fairways, and roughs, and a 35 station practice range.
The rolling terrain, large mature Oak and Pecan trees, well positioned bunkers, large putting surfaces, and Rowlett and Spring Creeks winding throughout, makes this course a must for the golf enthusiast.
We would also like to announce that every cart on the Bridges course now has GPS units. They cover full hole distances, fly over views and electronic scorecards.
