Festival of Flight and Flowers

The Festival of Flight and Flowers, with the help of Beck Smith and Gallus Quigley of Archaeopteryx Birding and Nature Tours, has put together a wonderful array of immersive guided hikes in Lake County.  The hikes are a well-paced mix of walks for all levels of fitness, including children, beginners, and advanced nature lovers.

Lake county not only offers an incredibly varied landscape of scrub, marsh, springs, forests, and lakes that are best enjoyed on foot, but among this vast natural landscape, you will find a large variety of bird species, butterflies, insects, and wildflowers.
