About Us
Fenimore Art Museum, on the shore of Otsego Lake in Cooperstown, New York, presents outstanding permanent and changing exhibitions from world class collection of American folk art, the renowned Eugene and Clare Thaw Collection of American Indian Art, Hudson River School and 19th-century genre paintings and American photography. These include important examples of work from such acclaimed artists as Gilbert Stuart, William Sidney Mount, Thomas Cole, E.L. Henry, and Eastman Johnson.
